The weather was CRAZY today! It was actually snowing and raining in NJ. So we stayed in to finally get over the bug. It was movies, arts and crafts projects, trains, puzzles, and knights and castles all morning long. And then there was my favorite rainy day activity, a great book called Babar’s Yoga for Elephants. Warning: this is not a quiet bedtime story. When we take this book out at our house, bodies are flying all over the floor making letters and animals like the elephants. It’s yoga in disguise. There are great pictures, step by step instructions on how to do a bunch of yoga poses/stretches and of course a cute story. This book is a blast for the kids and mom’s it’s a great way to sneak in some fitness time for you too. My kids were actually excited to “Play the Yoga Game” instead of Candy Land again today, and so was I.
