Easy Night Out (dinner 11.21.08)

We went up to a friends house for dinner tonight and let our little guys hang-out for a while. They don't know it yet but they will be best friends if their parents have anything to do with! It was a nice easy night out and we agreed that we should do that a couple times each month. I made a salad of romaine, green apples, walnuts, red onion, avocado and blue cheese. My friend made the main course of chicken parmesan, pasta and garlic bread. For dessert I baked some chocolate chip cookies. The most amazing part of the night was finding a parking spot right in front of our house when we got home -- that never happens, nevermind on a freezing cold Friday night! We are going to take it easy tomorrow - I think we are expecting a few visitors but we'll rest up for the big wedding tomorrow night!
