Late Start (breakfast 12.31.08)
Wednesday, December 31, 2008 15:55 No CommentsI am getting a really late start on my day…I am just eating my breakfast and it’s nearly 11 o’clock! I wish I could say I slept in but that is not the case. I was up early to feed the baby, then I gave Mike a ride to work and went to the grocery store. There was a little pre-storm madness at the store but nothing like the last time I went when we were expecting snow. I got home and started to do a few things but the baby was fussy so we had to spend some time together and next thing you know it’s time for him to eat again. I think he will sleep for a while now so I should be able to make up for some lost time. I am going to be cooking meatballs, sauce and a baked pasta to bring to our friend’s house tonight. Nothing too complicated since I have to work quickly between naps! I am hoping the snow won’t cause too much trouble – it’s already piling up a little but I hear it’s supposed to end early in the evening. We will see how accurate the forecast is. I hope your New Year’s Eve plans are shaping up like mine are, it’s always fun to celebrate the end of one good year and welcome the next!
