National Heart Month – When to Worry

An interesting study from Medical News Today stated that people normally take heart attack symptoms more seriously in others than themselves. 47% said they’d help another person "with unusual chest pains but 65% would not call if they had the same kind of pain." This study resulted in a campaign called "Doubt Kills, further emphasizing, "A chest pain is your body saying 'Call 999'. Doubt Kills. Call 999 Immediately."
So if you or someone has any of these complaints (for unknown reasons) they should not be ignored:
-Pain in the center of the chest
-Painful arm(s), neck and/or jaw
-Feeling sick
-Feeling sweaty
-Being short of breath
