Late but Great (dinner 2.25.09)
Thursday, February 26, 2009 3:08 No CommentsWe ate late tonight, but the meal was great so it was worth the wait (sorry that was like a line from a Dr. Suess book). I went to the store and bought some fresh shrimp, scallops and mussels to make a seafood fra diavolo. The only thing I didn’t like was my pasta choice – I should have used linguine or fettucini instead of cappellini (another Dr. Suess line, what is going on?!). I had looked up a few recipes but fra diavolo is really a simple combination of sauteed onions, garlic, crushed red pepper and canned tomatoes (some crushed, some diced) so I winged it! There is plenty leftover so I am hoping that it reheats okay. I knew dinner was going to be late so I grabbed a snack while I was at Whole Foods from the salad bar. I got a brown rice and edamame mixture and it held me over well because of the fiber and the protein. I am glad we are now on the back stretch of the week!![]()
Abs Revealed

I’m happy! I feel stronger on the inside and out. My obliques are gaining some definition and I feel less bloated since I started drinking more water. If you’ve been crunching with me, hope you’re feeling great too

Acai and Weight Loss – Does it work?
Wednesday, February 25, 2009 21:12 No CommentsDoes the new wonder food acai really work to lose weight? Lately that’s all you are hearing about especially since Oprah and Dr. Oz talked about it on the show. But read this from ABC news for an interesting rendition…
Weight Watchers Radio Ad Banned
Wednesday, February 25, 2009 20:18 No CommentsThe UK Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that a Weight Watchers radio ad is misleading and “must not be broadcast again in its current form.” Weight Watchers claim their program is “not a diet” – but it seems some people beg to differ (something discussed in detail on this site)….
