We braved the wind and went for a good walk this afternoon. Thankfully I can turn the seat of the stroller around so I was able to shield Will pretty well. I was encouraged to see a few signs of spring while I walked…

daff.JPGTechnically spring starts on Friday but that doesn’t always means the winter is over in this part of the country. We headed over to my sister’s house for dinner because Mike had a basketball game. She made a yummy chicken sausage, zucchini, roasted red pepper and pasta stir-fry. We took another walk with her because she has a dog too and was just getting home from work when we arrived. Will was happy to spend some time with his aunt and I was happy to have some company too since the afternoons can seem very long sometimes. I am setting up shop to do a little work tonight. I have another busy weekend ahead of me so I want to get my work behind me. I have a hard time enjoying myself when I know there is work to be done so I always use that as my motivation to get it done. Another distraction is the NCAA March Madness Tournament that kicks off tomorrow — we love basketball in this house (just as much as we love St. Patty’s) so we get very excited for this time of year!
