Fast Morning! (lunch 3.12.09)

It was another unusually fast morning for me. I drove Mike into work because I needed to go to the post office (mail some St. Patrick’s Day cards…it’s the Jones family’s favorite holiday). I got my latte payment for driving which always makes me happy! I went to my Nana’s house on my way home because I had some food to bring her and she loves seeing Will so we try to get there at least once a week to spend some time. Will did all his tricks for her and then he started to get hungry and tired so we came home. I am just eating a quick bowl of lentil soup for lunch and then it’s time to settle down and do some work. Tomorrow I need to get started on my baking for the weekend party so it’s even more important that I get my last few tasks checked off today. If I can’t get in done during the day I will stay up late tonight but hopefully it doesn’t come to that!

Boot Camp Circuit Workout

IMG_3210.JPGLast night at boot camp we did a great full body circuit workout. After a ten minute warm up, we hit station after station for two minute intervals of toning and cardio bursts. There were tricep kickbacks, jump rope, speed bag, lunges with a twist, mountain climbers, overhead press, squats, and more. I love circuit training, because I know I can push myself through 2 minutes of any challenge (keeps things in perspective). It’s a FUN way to workout. If you’re up for an at home circuit, head to

One Handed (breakfast 3.12.09)

I ate a quick one handed breakfast while I did some ironing this morning. I actually was not too hungry when I woke up so I nibbled on smaller things (granola bar, fruit, carnation instant breakfast). Today I am hanging around the house and trying to get some work done if possible. I spent a good chunk of time on the video last night so I didn’t get to a couple of things I wanted to. I should have the video inserted correctly at some point today…I am close but not quite there yet! Have a great day!
