Late Start (4.10.09)

We got a late start to the day, but that’s the great thing about vacation – it doesn’t matter! I think we are just planning on taking it easy today anyways and maybe going out to dinner tonight. The sun is shining and that’s all I need…I’m an easy vacationer. I ate a Balance bar and a couple clementines for breakfast and Mike’s brother has an awesome espresso machine so I had a cappuccino too. Another thing I could get used to is an in-house Barista! Happy Friday!

Healthy Host (dinner 4.9.09)

We did the exciting stuff early in the day and then we used the end of the day to relax. We cooked another nice dinner at home and are going to play board games again tonight (I have to defend my title as the “winner” from last night). I am trying not to think about the fact that we only have two days left here — instead I am enjoying every minute of this and hoping that maybe we can come back in the fall. We went to the market again for dinner items. Tonight we had salad, rice, grilled asparagus and marinated kebabs (chicken & beef) – I told you my host is a good healthy cook! Another thing I am trying not to think about is the weather back in Boston…dare I ask what the temperature has been?!
