The Beach in April… (dinner 4.28.09)

It stayed hot until late in the day today but my friend and I took a nice long walk along the water so we enjoyed a slightly cooler temperature there. There were so many people out at the beach which is crazy because it’s really only April! I know it was hot enough to be there but I can’t imagine going in the water because that is still very cold! I got Bruce up to the dog wash and he enjoyed his cool bath. Will found that whole process highly entertaining which was good because I didn’t know how he would be in his stroller while I washed the dog. We wrapped up the day with a nice seafood dinner on the grill. I put out some pita chips, hummus and tabbouleh to snack on (we were hungry after our walk) then we had grilled salmon and shrimp along with asparagus and israeli couscous for the main meal. I watched the Biggest Loser and now I am heading to bed. Today was a long, busy day but I enjoyed it to the fullest100_4532.JPG!
