5:45 Boot Camp

IMG_3661.JPGThis morning I shook up my workout routine and headed to a 5:45 Boot Camp class at my new gym. Waking up early to exercise may seem crazy to some people (me this morning at 5:10 when the alarm rang), but studies show that women who sweat in the AM are more likely to stick with a workout routine. Why, because distractions are less likely to pop up (meeting runs over, kids activities, or just too tired). One early morning class and I’m hooked, along with the thirty other women who are boot camp regulars! By 7:00 my workout was done and I felt energized for a full day of running around with the kids. Packing Again! (lunch 5.29.09)

Since it was not a walking day (still raining) my girlfriend brought her daughter over and we hung out at my house for a little while this morning. She brought lunch (yum) from her favorite bagel shop. Now I am getting us all packed up for another weekend trip. We are going to get Bruce when he is all finished and head down to my parents house — we don’t like to stay put if you couldn’t tell! I should be getting the call anytime now and hopefully I can beat out some of the Friday traffic if I leave early. They are saying it is going to be nice this weekend so I did pack some shorts but of course I have jeans and a sweatshirt too! Have a great weekend yourself!
