Memorial Day Weekend Wrap-Up (5.23.09-5.25.09)
Tuesday, May 26, 2009 2:15 No CommentsThree day weekends are so much better than the standard two day weekend. That extra day really makes a difference! If I had been around my house in Boston I would have used one day to clean and do housework and two days to have fun but since we were away I did no housework and had fun all three days! We spent the weekend in Mike’s hometown and got to see all our friends there. We also did some outlet shopping (for Will) and spent lots of time outside with Bruce because the weather was beautiful! We actually got back to Boston pretty early today and had my sister over for a mini cookout because how could I not eat at least one hamburger on Memorial Day weekend?! My food intake was all over the place since we were bouncing around from one house (party) to the next but now I am back home and will resume my usual routine tomorrow morning. The highlights of my meals this weekend are below including a nice melted ice cream at the end…too hard to walk the dog and eat the ice cream at the same time so I had to wait until I got home. I hope you enjoyed all of your three day weekend and are now ready for summertime!! ![]()
