Christmas in July! (dinner 7.23.09)
Friday, July 24, 2009 3:12 No CommentsWe got to go and meet our friend’s new baby girl tonight – it was so nice. It’s hard to believe that Will was that same size less than 9 months ago…he seemed like a giant next to her. I made a big salad for us to have along with some pizza we ordered. I had hoped to bring all of dinner but my day ended up being busier than I expected so I just brought the salad. Tomorrow is going to be a much more relaxed day. It’s supposed to rain again but Saturday is going to be nice and I can wait one more day because arriving on my doorstep tomorrow is an early Christmas present…a BOB stroller!!! Mike’s mom bought us one so we could jog with Will and if it arrives on time tomorrow I am going to attempt a return to running this weekend – it’s going to take a while to build myself back up to my old routine but at least now I can try! ![]()

Golfing tips from a pro!
Thursday, July 23, 2009 21:36 No CommentsHi! It’s Motahareh, the fitness intern again! One of my
hands down, favorite parts of my job is when Fitness Assistant Editor Liz
Miersch sends me to events. A I mean, what is not to love? I get to mingle
with the folks in the industry over some of the best hors d’oeuvre in town. But
when I got to the Evian Masters media brunch, I was in for a real treat.
A Pro-golfer Natalie Gulbis was on hand to give me a quick (but super
effective) lesson on golfing. I am by no means a seasoned veteran when it comes
to golf (unless you count putt putt!).A But Natalie had some great tips on
how to improve (or in my case, begin) my game.
