Fitness Field Trip!

Today I spent the day in fitness heaven at SELF’s NYC office. From the minute I walked into the Fitness Department there were new products, fabulous fall workout gear (keep an eye out for Fit Flops fall line…amazing boots), and fun exercise finds everywhere. It was so cool!

The best part of traveling today was avoiding all the traffic that will be headed this way later in the week. The day turned out to be really nice and when my mom got home from work we took a good long walk with the dogs and the baby. We had steak for dinner and then my father’s friend showed up with a huge piece of striped bass that he had caught just hours before! The fish was so good – my dad grilled it after topping it with his “special” mix of herbs. I was pretty full from the steak so I just had a small piece but there is plenty more leftover. I am looking forward to doing some errands and seeing some friends tomorrow — I hope it’ll be another nice day but two in a row is probably asking too much
