Some Relief (dinner 8.21.09)

The day flew by and half the time I didn’t even know what day it was — hard to keep track when you have been on vacation. I am glad I got the house back in order and can now spend my weekend with Mike & Will doing as I please. We went out to dinner tonight and sat outside since there was finally a little relief from the heat as the sun started to go down. We went to one of our favorite places – PICCO – which stands for Pizza & Ice Cream Company. Tonight instead of pizza I got a calzone – fresh mozzarella, caramelized onions and meatball. I ate most of it but I had to save room for ice cream (I chose Caramel Swirl). It was a nice night out and we are home now watching the Red Sox play the Yankees which is always interesting because Mike & I cheer for opposite teams! Enjoy the weekend — Go Sox!
