Last Nice Day (lunch & dinner 8.28.09)

We got one last nice day in before a rainy weekend (and up coming week it seems). It doesn’t look like we’ll be getting a direct hit from Hurricane Danny but it’s going to bring wind and rain so we will probably be sticking to indoor activities. I stopped and bought a salad for lunch on my way home from my walk. At first I just put half of it in my bowl and ate that but I was still hungry so I finished it off. I gave Will some beets and he loved them – that’s my boy! For dinner we had Mexican food at our favorite local spot Salsa’s. I had chips and salsa to start and a bean, rice, cheese & pico burrito for dinner (ate half and brought the rest home). It’s time to watch a movie and relax after a busy week. Enjoy the weekend!

Motivation

IMG00024.jpgMy motivation to move today, all the buttered popcorn and sour worms I ate at the movies. My husband and I skipped our training last night and headed to see the new Quentin Tarantino movie (his choice). Yum, it all tasted great while I was snacking, but then just sat in my stomach! So despite the pouring rain this morning, I headed to a 9:15 Step class (I decided to snooze my way through 5:45 Boot Camp) to get my body moving. Bonus, it was an AWESOME high energy class! The rain is still coming down in buckets. I hope it clears for the weekend. Have a great Saturday and SundayJ
