Busy Day Driving (dinner 8.27.09)

It was a busy day driving down to my parent’s house and back in one day but it was worth it. My grandmother got her things done, Bruce got to play with Raymond (my parent’s dog) and I got to visit with my family & my best friend. Will was exhausted by the end of it all and I am hoping he might sleep later than six o’clock which has been his wake-up time recently. I didn’t really eat lunch today, I just snacked on a few things because I was busy running around but dinner was much more well balanced. As usual I packed a nice bag of food for Will and didn’t do as great of a job packing for myself. It wasn’t my best Eat Like Me day but I did eat the orange I packed and I did avoid taking a can of Diet Coke for late night ride home so those were two highlights. Tomorrow is Friday and I am staying put!

Lunge Cha-Cha!

I love dancing, even though I have two left feet. That’s why anytime I can combine dancing with a great tush toner like the lunge, I’m psyched. This move rocks!

The Move: The Lunge Cha-Cha

Equipment: None



IMG_3943.JPGHow To Do It: Stand tall, feet shoulder width apart. Take a big step forward with your left foot into a basic lunge position. Knee should be bent about 90 degrees, left knee behind your left toe. Push off your front foot back into standing position and straight into the quick, quick, quick step of the cha-cha. Then step forward for that lunge with your right
