Why Now is the Best Time to Start
Friday, September 11, 2009 23:04 No CommentsThe beginning of September has to be the all-time best time to start a new exercise program. Here are just a few of my reason why… 1. For many of the northern states (countries) the temperature has already started to…
New Project! (lunch 9.11.09)
Friday, September 11, 2009 21:47 No CommentsI had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory this afternoon because we took a trip to the mall and were there at lunchtime. I had the lunch-sized Cobb salad which was huge and I only ate half of it. I made the mistake of not asking for my dressing on the side so I am not sure if my leftovers will even be good to eat if I don’t eat them today. I got to take a trip by myself to the sewing store later in the day and after much deliberation (which is why I had to go without a 10-month old) I picked out my materials for a new project. ![]()
I am up to the last step of my skirt but I actually don’t really like the style so I don’t have much motivation to finish it off. I am three-quarters of the way finished with Will’s Halloween costume and that will have to be be done for next month so I figured I would get started on something new. I am making a little quilt which says “EZQuilter” on the pattern but looks pretty complicated…we’ll see how long this takes me! Have a great weekend!![]()

Last night I stayed up late and made a few last minute additions to my playlist. Here’s what I’ll be jamming to before the big race. And yes I’m still a Celine Dion fan, so be warned. What music gets you race ready?

Another Food Safety Bill Headed to the U.S.
Friday, September 11, 2009 16:00 No CommentsFlickr: illuminating9_11 About one third of Americans are “very or extremely” concerned about food safety, with this percentage of people holding firm since 2007. National food scares, like the salmonella-peanut butter outbreak, are blamed for propping up America’s uneasy feelings. That’s why a new bill, on its way to the Senate, seeks to improve U.S. food safety. …
