As I type this blog, I'm listing in my head the things I have to do in preparation for Thanksgiving tomorrow: Catch bus to New Jersey, pick up my race bib for tomorrow's Turkey Trot 5-miler, head to the grocery store, prepare a chocolate cream pie (and magic cookie bars and butter cookies shaped and decorated like turkeys and possibly an apple crisp, as I have a big, dessert-loving family)--the list goes on!
