What a fun weekend! There was good food (and drink), amazing friends/family, and a great raceJ My compliments to everyone who was involved in putting together the Long Branch Beauty and the Beach event. From the Saucony Long Sleeve technical t-shirts to the flip-flop finisher’s necklace and the fancy post-race party at Avenue all the participants were truly treated like queens. I didn’t want today to end because the weather was so great but I am looking forward to some much needed rest tonight. I had an easy night in the kitchen because we used up our leftover  Shepard’s Pie from the weekend for dinner. I love when you can put the work in making a good meal one night and then benefit from it on another!
