A New Start, a New Vision

Yesterday was the first Monday of the New Year. I’m thinking many of you have already started with a New Year’s resolution to lose weight since it was  also the start of a new week too.
So think how amazing things in your life can change in one full year? If you are making a commitment to lose weight I want you to consider exactly where you will be a year from today. What will you be saying to yourself then? Will you be making the same resolution or given up completely?  Or hopefully you be successful and saying "I really did it this time!"
Ask yourself very honestly, what are you willing and able to do to make this happen? As I have mentioned previously weight loss is all encompassing and requires numerous areas of change so you may have to consider breaking up your major goal utilizing SMART goals and/or using Nutrition Data's Diet and Weight Loss page of useful links, especially under the Tools section. (Don't forget Dana and Steve have numerous blogs of useful information as well!) Dedicate at least ten to minutes each and every day to focus on  your goal. Then take positive action on it no matter how small. Don't forget to pat yourself on the back when you do it too!

This is a new year, so make no more delays, no more excuses and move out of your comfort zone and any fear you may have, and pursue the life you really want. Don't stand in your own way. Today and every day take your control back and realize your dreams!
