Combat (a fusion of self defense, cardio kickboxing, and capoeira) is my new favorite class. Its high energy and so much FUN! After each class my body feels that “good” sore feeling. Try this squat, lunge, kick combo, and then let me know if it kicks your butt too! Have a great weekend:)

I always thought I was born in the wrong city (sorry, Philly), and if I didn’t love writing for this magazine so much, I would definitely be living on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean. Needless to say, the idea of voluntarily being outside in 20-degree weather seems insane to me, but in the name of SELF Magazine and Fresh Fitness Tips, I braved the cold in Killington, Vermont and jumped on a snowboard with a little help from my friends from the Burton Learn to Ride program. And guess what, during the four hours I spent in the snow, I was actually warm! What a workout!
