How Can I Stop Night-time Snacking? [Forum]

So, i eat really healthy for all of my meals. I go to the gym 6 days a week which includes cardio and weight training each time.

Normally for breakfast i have kashi go lean cereal, fiber one cereal, or oatmeal. Then lunch: a small salad with a protein or an omlette with veggies, and then dinner a protein with veggies and maybe a carb. During the day before these meals i'll have small snacks , such as fruits, nuts, or 2 pieces of deli meat.

So, i do really well during the day, but then after dinner when i'm around the apartment i can't stop snacking!! I don't know how to stop it, i really try, but then i give into the urge. After dinner tonight i had some papaya as my dessert, but just now, i had two bowls of cereal, some nuts, and then a cookie! ah! someone help with advice please!
