For the majority of people, getting motivated to exercise doesn't come easily. So in order to keep up a consistent routine you'll need to find a way to get a daily dose of motivation.

Of course, if you have a regular appointment with a fitness professional to meet and workout then that in and of itself will at least get you to your session. As we know the hardest part of exercising is oftentimes just making it to the gym...

For everyone that doesn't have a personal trainer I recommend staying on pace by taking 10-20 minutes a day to read a few online or print articles that are in line with your goals. Many people find that reading up on and reviewing their health & fitness goals helps them stay true to their routine. They understand that they will only reach those goals if they take the specific actions necessary to get there. This is why they "trick" their mind into getting motivated by focusing on their ideal body through daily motivational reading.

The next time you are thinking about skipping your routine or if you're "just not into it that day," I highly recommend a quick reading of an article or two on how you can achieve your goals. Try it out for a week and let me know how it goes!
