Temptations are a given during the holidays. Thanks to Christmas baskets, holiday party spreads, chocolate Chanukah "gelt" and even mugs of hot cocoa, mulled cider and spiked egg nog, it's easy to pack on the pounds. Plus, fitting in exercise between family gatherings and social events can be a struggle.
Yet, sweets and packed schedules aren't the only obstacles to staying healthy during this time of year. In order to emerge from the season feeling good, it's important to stay physically, emotionally and mentally fit.
