Sticking to appropriate serving sizes is crucial if you are trying to lose or maintain your weight, but a recent survey shows that sometimes serving sizes are a bit misleading. For example, a small can of soup may look like a single serving, but according to the label it is actually two. And did you know that, for non-stick cooking spray to really have zero calories per serving, you can only spray it for a quarter of a second? Yeah, right! The average spray is more like 6 seconds, which has about 50 calories and 6 grams of fat. But are we destined to just have to try our best to follow these ridiculous serving sizes? Not, if we can outsmart them...
