Jordyn Wieber is just like any other rising senior in high school. She balances classes and friends, she loves Justin Bieber, and oh right, she's the current world champion of gymnastics.

We featured Wieber in the July issue of SELF, where she talked to us about the importance of staying focused on the day-to-day, even with dreams as big as her own. This week, we've caught up with the Olympic hopeful as she prepares for the gymnastics trials starting June 28th in San Jose. Even before the trials Wieber has her sights set on the Olympic gold, and one look at the vid below of her Amanar vault (it's the first move) in the Tokyo world championship--a two-and-a-half-twist back flip off the horse--will show you why.
