Best exercise ever Long before there were gyms or modern weights people relied on good old fashioned body weight exercises and lifting heavy objects to get in shape.

One such exercise is the pull-up.

The pull-up effectively works your back, arms, and core (as well as many other upper body muscles). It’s also one of those body weight exercises you can do almost anywhere if you’re willing to get a little creative.

It’s one of my favorites because I can work a lot of muscle in just one exercise making it great for boosting the metabolism and getting in a quick, efficient workout. I prefer to do these at home on the pull-up bar I keep in my closet. The one I have is called the “Iron Gym” and it’s pretty cool since it slips right over the frame of my door to lock it in place and I can take it down when I’m finished.

If you haven’t added pull-ups to your exercise program because you find them too difficult I’m going to show you a great way to use some assistance while doing them so that you can work your way up to using only your own body weight!
