I resisted that second dose of caffeine this afternoon and although I could have used the boost, I am glad I didn’t have it because now I can go to bed early and actually fall asleep. I had a long day with the baby and the dog and I’ll be glad to put my feet up and relax for a few minutes once I am done with this post. I only had to make dinner for myself tonight so I took the easy way out and had scrambled eggs with a whole wheat English muffin and cantaloupe. Tomorrow I am testing my skills and taking care of two babies! I’ll have a friend’s daughter who is just over a month younger than Will is. Will and her have had many play dates so I am hoping things go smoothly and they get along. I am getting everything that I need for tomorrow ready tonight because sometimes it’s hard to find the time to do things with one baby following you around so I am sure that it would be impossible with two! It should be a fun day but I am sure a very tiring one — just another reason for me to try to get as much sleep as I can tonight!

This Meal Provides Approximately: Grains = 2 ounces (+whole), Fruit = 1+ cup, Milk = minimal, Meat & Beans = 2 ounces, Discretionary Calories = 40-50 kcals (a little whipped butter on my English muffin)

This afternoon I had a slice of my banana bread…I think I over-cooked it slightly because it seemed a bit dry but it still tastes good!
