I Grilled (dinner 8.26.09)
Thursday, August 27, 2009 1:15I don’t like doing it but I did it tonight — I grilled. It was getting late and Mike was busy with work so I got everything prepped, waited a little longer and then I just did it. It’s really windy and the flame got blown out twice which meant I had to relight it (that’s the part I am scared of) but in the end everything turned out great! I made steak tips, sweet potatoes and asparagus – nothing complicated but still good. I could have done the asparagus on the grill but I decided to just put them on the stovetop since I was already managing two items over the flames. Now that dinner is done and cleaned up, it’s time to tidy the house for tomorrow’s showings. I am actually going to take a ride down to my parents for the day and bring my grandmother with us. I’ll be heading out early and hopefully can avoid any traffic by doing so. Thursday came fast this week, maybe Saturday will too – I’m tired.
This Meal Provides Approximately: Grains = 1.5 ounces (I snacked on Goldfish while I was waiting), Vegetables = 2.25 cups, Meat & Beans = 4-5 ounces, Oils = 2-3 teaspoons
