It’s September 11th – a sad day always but I try to reflect upon the date in as positive a way as I can. As I have said in years past, I was lucky to not be directly affected by the attacks but I will never forget that day and I will always feel hurt for those whose lives were changed by those events.

I get to spend another day with my boys (all three) which is the best way to spend a day in my opinion. We have a few things to do around the house (as usual) and then we get to do the fun stuff. We have dinner plans with friends at PICCO – Pizza & Ice Cream Company – so I am definitely looking forward to my pizza fix for the week tonight! For breakfast I made oatmeal with cinnamon, raisins and walnuts. I had all the ingredients around because I made some oatmeal raisin cookies yesterday so I figured I should combine them in a healthier way — no butter or sugar this morning! This Meal Provides Approximately: Grains = 2 ounces (+whole), Fruit = 0.5 cup, Milk = 1 cup, Meat & Beans = 1 ounce, Oils = 1 teaspoon
