Simple Changes That Worked for Me [Forum]
Monday, May 17, 2010 20:45I used to eat real fatty foods, predominantly very meaty, with high fat and cholesterol. It may be because of my upbringing, but I have really made an effort to change things around.
I started eating WHOLE GRAINS, such as whole grain breads, whole grain pasta, and oatmeal often.
I started eating lean meat such as turkey bacon and 80% lean ground beef.
I also started eating a lot of yogurt as well and drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
I think it has helped a lot. I don’t feel bogged down as much throughout the day, and I lost 4 pounds since I changed my diet a month ago.
Surprisingly, a few extra dollars to buy healthier foods is worth it.
