I’m Kaitie, the fitness team’s new intern! I’m beyond excited to become a part of the SELF blogosphere and share my fitness experiences and discoveries with you along the way!
I’ve always loved the sense of accomplishment that comes with physical activity, be it through running, yoga, pilates, or lifting weights! But as a busy NYU student with varying day-to-day schedules, I found it nearly impossible to fall into a regular fitness routine, and sadly, my workouts came few and far in between. When every year I’d vow to go to the gym 3 times a week, my friends would just roll their eyes and laugh at me when I protested “but I will! This year is different!” Well, finally I stopped stating my goals and acted on them.
