Use an Exercise Journal to Track your Progress
Monday, September 28, 2009 23:35Without getting overly complicated it’s important for you to be keeping an exercise journal. Since many people already write in a daily nutrition journal this should be fairly easy to implement. You can even create one journal that holds both if you’d like…
The reason I’m such a big advocate of keeping an exercise journal is that it will keep you honest with yourself. You’ll be able to track your days working out, the intensity of those workouts, increases in weights, and many more telling statistics. You can get as in depth or simplistic as you like. The important thing is that you see a steady consistency every week and improvements in each workout as you progress.
Tomorrow, I’m going to show you how to keep a simple exercise journal and what statistics you should focus on the most to maximize your results!
