Work Your Legs from Different Angles for Best Results After focusing on how good squats are for you to boost your metabolism I want to explain how you can properly place leg exercises into your workouts for best results.

So although I praised squats for their fat burning ability I do have to say that they shouldn’t be the only leg based exercise you have in your program. Whenever you’re designing a workout routine you want to make sure you include both knee and hip dominant exercises. All this means is that you want one exercise to work your quadriceps more and the other to target your glutes and hamstrings.

By following this program design you will decrease your chance for knee, hip, and lower back injury (due to imbalances) and will greatly increase your overall leg strength and toning.
